Dec 3, 2010 · This one shows the three hoses, top intake manifold fitting runs over the heater core, intake manifold fitting in the thermostat housing runs right down to the top fitting on the water pump, and the bottom fitting on the water pump runs over to the other fitting on the heater core. You’ll also find flow restrictors, grommets, and heater hose fittings. I have the Edelbrock Performer 2121, and the heater hose fitting is a 1/2" NPT thread with a 3/4" hose fitting. The clamp is just a spring and may have weakened with age.
